Rather than redrawing the structure from scratch, your photo is carefully prepared and refined into a custom design that preserves its character while translating it into our signature layered wooden style.

Every design is individually adjusted by hand to ensure balance, depth, and clarity before production. Fine details are selectively enhanced, simplified, or cleaned up as needed so the final piece works beautifully as a physical object — not just an image on a screen.

Visible elements in your photo, such as landscaping, vehicles, or surrounding details, are typically included as they appear and become part of the finished composition.

Once finalized, the design is brought to life through layered wood construction and assembled by hand in our Florida studio, creating a dimensional keepsake designed for display and long-term enjoyment.

Ornament designs feature an integrated arched frame above the building, creating a natural point for hanging while preserving the full depth and detail of our replicas. Each piece remains freestanding with a flat base, allowing it to be displayed on a shelf, desk, or mantel just like our standard replicas.

Size & Dimensions

Ornaments are produced in a single, balanced size designed to accommodate both hanging and freestanding display.

• Approximately 4.5 inches wide at the base
• Approximately 5/8 inch (0.625 inch) thick, creating a sturdy, dimensional profile

An integrated arched frame extends above the building to provide a natural hanging point. Overall height may vary slightly depending on the shape and proportions of the building shown in your photo.

Because each piece is custom-made from a unique image, dimensions may vary slightly.

If desired, customers may choose to seal, finish, or paint their replica themselves after delivery.

Display & Placement

Ornaments are designed to be displayed in multiple ways. Each piece features an integrated arched frame for hanging and a flat base that allows it to stand securely on its own.

They may be displayed:

• Hanging from a tree, hook, or decorative hanger
• Resting on a shelf, desk, mantel, or ledge

If displaying in a narrow or elevated location, a small amount of removable tack or museum putty may be used to prevent tipping.

Care Instructions

To keep your replica looking its best:

• Handle with clean, dry hands
• Keep away from water, moisture, heat, and open flame
• Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth, duster, or compressed air as needed

In the rare event of surface discoloration, a very fine-grit sandpaper (500 grit or higher) may be used lightly and carefully to refresh the area. Take care around fine details when sanding.

With normal indoor display and care, your ornament is designed to maintain its appearance over time.

Production Time

Each piece is handcrafted to order.

• Production time: approximately 4–10 business days
• Timing may vary slightly based on the complexity of the photo and current order volume, especially during peak seasons and holidays.

We work through orders carefully and intentionally — these pieces are never rushed.

Ornaments follow the same handcrafted production process and timelines as our standard replicas.

Shipping

Orders ship from Florida via USPS.

• Standard shipping: USPS Ground Advantage (typically 2–6 business days within the U.S.)
• Expedited shipping options may be available at checkout

Please note: upgrading shipping speed affects transit time only and does not shorten production time.

Tracking information is provided once your order ships.

Ordering & What Happens Next

After you place your order:

1. Your photo is reviewed to ensure it meets the requirements for production
2. If everything looks good, your piece moves into design and production
3. The piece is cut, assembled, sanded, packaged, and prepared for shipment

You’ll typically only hear from us if there’s a question or an issue with the photo. Otherwise, we’ll get to work and notify you when your order ships.

Photo Review & Requirements

Your piece is created directly from the photo you provide, so image quality matters.

For best results, please upload a photo that:

• Clearly shows the full home or building
• Is well lit, with minimal shadows
• Is an original phone or camera photo (not a screenshot, wide-angle, or heavily edited image)
• Has sufficient resolution to capture details

Photos that are heavily filtered, cropped too tightly, or too low in resolution may not produce the best results.

If you place an order and your photo isn’t workable, we’ll reach out by email to see if another image is available. We’re always happy to review multiple photos and help you choose the best option. If no suitable photo can be found, your order will be canceled and fully refunded before production begins.

Cancellations & Returns

Because each replica is custom-made — and may include personalized engraving — returns are not accepted.

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase, as long as production has not yet begun.

Delivery Issues

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

In the rare event that a package is lost in transit, we’ll work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
